Hi and thanks for visiting my gallery page! These photos are from my travels (I travel a lot for work) - if you want to learn more about how I take these shots and who I learn from, visit www.runningronin.com.

For those who remember the Piano Man photo, many people (uhm... more like a few, well... almost nobody, but they were important!) have shown interest into figuring out what most of thew crowd was doing, rather than listen to the Piano Man.

Nothing extravagant... the street painter had almost finished her iconic chalk drawing on the pavement in front of the Cologne Dome.

The photo was shot in HDR - from 3 bracketed photos. Then I took the middle exposure, made it black and white and "buzzsimmed" it in Topaz Simplify. Finally I layered it with the HDR version and had the painting emerge through, by peeling.
